Preparing the Waffle Fries

These crispy waffle fries will serve as the perfect base for your cheeseburger nachos, adding a satisfying crunch and a unique twist to the dish.

Creating the Perfect Mince Mixture

The foundation of any great cheeseburger nachos recipe is the mince mixture. Start by heating some olive oil in a large frypan over medium-high heat. Add 500 grams of beef mince and use the back of a wooden spoon to break it up as it cooks. Once the mince is browned, it’s time to enhance the flavors. Sprinkle in some garlic powder, flour, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.

Next, pour in half a cup of beef stock and a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer until it’s no longer watery, ensuring that the mince is juicy and packed with flavor.

This savory beef will be the star of your nachos, providing a hearty and delicious base.

Elevating with Burger Sauce

No cheeseburger is complete without a tangy, creamy sauce, and these cheeseburger nachos are no exception. To whip up the burger sauce, simply combine mayonnaise, tomato sauce, American mustard, pickle juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

This tangy, creamy sauce will tie all the flavors together and add that signature cheeseburger taste to your nachos.

Assembling Your Cheeseburger Nachos

With your mince mixture ready and waffle fries baked to perfection, it’s time to bring all the elements together. Divide the crispy fries between serving bowls and top with the beef mince. Sprinkle generously with grated cheddar cheese and place under the grill for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese to perfection. Finally, drizzle the burger sauce over the top and scatter shredded lettuce, diced tomato, diced onion, pickle slices, and sesame seeds across each bowl.
