- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 chilli, finely diced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
- ½ cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Looking for a quick and easy to make weeknight meal? Then look no further. These sesame pork burgers are incredibly easy to make, they taste incredible, and you can guarantee there won’t be any leftovers.
Preparing the Pork Patties
To prepare the pork patties, start by adding pork mince, breadcrumbs, eggs, fish sauce, sriracha, coriander and finely diced chilli to a large mixing bowl. If you are making the recipe for little ones, then feel free to omit the chilli. Thoroughly mix the mince mixture together and then divide it into 6 patties.
To divide the mixture, roll out the mince into a log and cut into 6 portions. Alternatively, use a scale and weigh out balls of mince about 110 grams in weight each.
Take each portion of mince and flatten it into a large flat patty. Pour some sesame seeds into a bowl and then dip each side of each patty into the sesame seeds, pushing down firmly to ensure the seeds stick.
Finishing the Sesame Pork Burgers
Heat a large fry pan over medium-high heat and add in the olive oil. Alternatively you could also heat the flat plate of a barbecue to cook the patties. With the pan heated, add each patty and cook each side for 4 minutes, cooking until the patties are browned and cooked through.
Split your burger buns in half. Top the bottom half with some grated carrot. Next add the sesame pork patty. Follow this with some sliced cucumber, some fresh coriander and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. Top with the remaining bun half.
As an alternative, instead of serving the patty in a bun, you could try serving it with rice instead. Steam up your favourite rice, add your patty and top with the remaining burger filling ingredients.
