Pork Patties
- 500 grams pork mince
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 chilli, finely diced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
- ½ cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
To Serve
- 6 burger buns
- ¼ cucumber, finely sliced
- 1 carrot, grated
- ½ cup fresh coriander
- ½ cup sweet chilli sauce
Combine the pork mince, breadcrumbs, egg, fish sauce, sriracha, chilli and coriander in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well combined. Divide the mixture into 6 portions (approximately 110 grams each). Shape each portion into a flat patty shape.
Pour the sesame seeds into a small bowl and dip both sides of each patty into the sesame seeds, pressing firmly to ensure the seeds stick.
Heat the oil in a large sauce pan over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook each side for approximately 4 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
Split each burger bun in half. To the bottom half add some cucumber slices and then some grated carrot. Top with a patty, some fresh coriander and then a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. Top with the remaining bun half.
