Pickled Jalapenos

Ingredients
 

  • 10 jalapenos, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Slice the jalapenos and place them into a large lidded jar. Add the cloves of garlic to the jar.
  • Combine the sugar, salt, water and vinegar in a saucepan and heat over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Pour the brine over the jalapenos and let cool to room temperature. Once cool, cover and chill for at least 1 hour before consuming.
