Pickled Jalapenos

- 10 jalapenos, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
Slice the jalapenos and place them into a large lidded jar. Add the cloves of garlic to the jar.
Combine the sugar, salt, water and vinegar in a saucepan and heat over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Pour the brine over the jalapenos and let cool to room temperature. Once cool, cover and chill for at least 1 hour before consuming.
