Ingredients
 

  • 5 Cucumbers (Lebanese, Persian or Pickling)
  • 2 Garlic Clove Peeled and Halved
  • 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 2-4 sprigs dill

Brine Solution

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 25 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

Instructions
 

  • Slice the cucumbers into thin slices. Divide the cucumbers between 2 large jars.
  • Divide the garlic, mustard seeds, peppercorns and dill among each jar.
  • Add the water, sugar, vinegar and salt to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture for 1-2 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Pour the brine solution over the cucumbers, seal the jars shut and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before consuming.
