Burger Pickles

- 5 Cucumbers (Lebanese, Persian or Pickling)
- 2 Garlic Clove Peeled and Halved
- 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 2-4 sprigs dill
Brine Solution
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 25 grams sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
Slice the cucumbers into thin slices. Divide the cucumbers between 2 large jars.
Divide the garlic, mustard seeds, peppercorns and dill among each jar.
Add the water, sugar, vinegar and salt to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat the mixture for 1-2 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Pour the brine solution over the cucumbers, seal the jars shut and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before consuming.
